My Playground is for kids that are active. We could put a mini sandpit and a roundabout. Maybe a Palace cubby house for the girls and a car cubby house for the boys. I would also put a climbing frame attached to stepping stones attached to a ladder attached to a balance beam attached to a foam pit underneath a slide.
I recomend thar K-2 have play equipment with hard bagie plastic walls for saftey thats water proof.A pink and yellow slide and 2 yellow slides and rubber floor.
I think the equipment should be safe and should not cause problems or fights. But in that way, there should be a fair amount of equipment. The kindy students should also be creative with the equipment so they can work together.
I have a list of things I think K, 1 and 2 would LOVE to play with in their future playground.
Some of these things are:
1. Swing (A playground isn't a playground without a swing!)
2. Ball Pit (We need some fun in the IGA)
3. See Saw (The safest See Saw that can be built - We don't want our students getting hurt)
4. Merry Go Round (The Park Version with bars to hold on to)
5. On the right side, a ladder to get up. On the other side a rock climbing set for another way to get up. In the middle, a slide to get down (And if the builders can, a "GO" sign on top, just to make it fun.
6. A little machine that says things to the kids such as "Hi, How are you, Do you like it here, Look at everyone playing! (Just for the children to have fun)
A couple days ago, we did a brainstorming session. We brainstormed ideas for the playground equipment. We need to make sure that the equipment is safe and fun to play with.I am really enjoying doing this project because it gives us a great chance to be really creative.
My playground is for the kids that like running.I would put a ball pit, swing set, mini helicopter, roundabout, mini car and a slide set and even a cubby house.
Maddi and I have created a fantasy theme for K-2 the girls have a princess theme and the boys are in space! We also have 3 slide for everybody and soccer goals with a basket of balls.
My ideas for the Kindy Playground was a swing,a spider web,a castle where you can slide down,a pirate ship where you could look in a telescope, steer the wheel and go into a little room.
For the Kinder playground i think there should be a slide, something that they can climb on,a sand pit and maybe something that they can turn.the materials should be soft and nothing that can hurt them.

ReplyDeleteFor the kinda playground:
ReplyDelete1: I think the kindas should have a slide
2: Some stairs to climb up
3: A phone that you can to nd hear from the bottom and the top and speak from the top and the bottom.
4: A wheel that they can spin with their hand

ReplyDeleteI have a list of equipment I would like to share.
ReplyDelete1. I would like to add a little slide to make it more fun (but only one at a time can go on!)
2. Maybe some skipping ropes to add a little skip on the playground.
3. We could give them some soccer balls.
4. I think they would like 2, 3 or 4 swings.
5. Maybe a cubby house like a fake flower shop might get their imaganation up and running.
