The Legend of ANZAC !
The Legend of ANZAC – and what you can find!
The 25th of April was officially named Anzac Day in 1916 to mark the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. This year we remember the 100th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli in 1915. Today Anzac Day is a way of remembering all Australians who have been killed, wounded or served in military operations throughout history.

100 Word Challenge............. Creative writing for young people
Each week a prompt is given which the children need to write a blog post of 100 words about. The post is then linked from your blog to the 100wc.net website where it can be seen by the thousands of schools, teachers and children that visit the site each week.

This week the prompt is five words that you must put into your piece of writing. This means you should use 105 words altogether. They are:

Quality Comments
This week, the students in 4P have been learning about writing quality comments on blog posts. We watched the following video and discussed the key features of a quality comment when writing on a blog. Finally, we are worked on improving our comments by responding to posts on our blog.
